For a half-century, Kent State alumnus Tom Batiuk has penned the adventures of the students and staff of the fictional Westview High School, but now, "Funky Winkerbean" is coming to an end. Kent State Today sat down with Batiuk to talk about his life's journey as a comic strip writer.

Students eat, meet and greet in the Kent Student Center

The entry of Team Rwanda and Team Nigeria into the annual cooking contest reflects Kent State’s growing relations in sub-Saharan Africa, resulting in new groups of international students on campus.
