In a month synonymous with cupid, hearts and chocolates, it seems fitting that Kent State University’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Plus (LGBTQ+) Center is celebrating 10 years of love. The celebration began on Valentine’s Day and will extend through the end of the year.

Kent State Public Relations Students Develop An Online Campaign About Civil Discourse

Throughout this week (February 22-26), Kent State University public relations students participating in the 2021 PRSSA Bateman Case Study Competition will educate their peers through a variety of tactics/initiatives about civility through an Instagram campaign titled “To Unity and Beyond.”

Public Health Students Continue COVID-19 Contact Tracing Efforts

As part of the university’s strategy to stop the spread of COVID-19, the College of Public Health at Kent State University partnered with the Kent City and Portage County Health Departments to conduct contact tracing for students and faculty on Kent Campus. Melissa Zullo, Ph.D., an associate professor of epidemiology in the College of Public Health, reached out to students within the college to ask for volunteers for the testing events. The health departments then ask the students to assist with contact tracing across the university.
