Grants Provide Engineering Technology Students with High-Tech Electronic Equipment
Engineering technology students at Kent State University at Tuscarawas now have access to new state-of-the-art portable electronic equipment.
The high-tech equipment was purchased through the Governor’s Office of Appalachia (GOA) and the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Workforce Development Grant for $182,000 with funding from Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association (OMEGA), Tuscarawas County Commissioners, Kent State University, Buckeye Career Center, OhioMeansJobs, Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce, and the Tuscarawas County Foundation.
