Tim Bell
Biography
Tim Bell earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Architecture at Columbia University in New York.
Bell is a formally-trained photographer but by-and-large is self-taught, owing in part, to a life-long study of composition, lighting and abstraction and further enhanced by his training as an architect. As a professional for more than 20 years, he has shot for numerous magazines, including Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Interior Design, Elle Décor, House Beautiful, This Old House, Met Home, NY Spaces, Business Week, Fortune, Fast Company, Forbes, Time, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. Advertising clients include Knoll, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Starwood Hotels, among others. Recent work includes pro-bono projects for Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club and DIFFA. He has work in private collections and am also represented by Corbis Images.
