The School of Art Tour Day includes a presentation about undergraduate majors in the School of Art (Studio Art, Art History and Art Education) as well as information about study abroad opportunities, faculty mentoring, professional academic advising, scholarships and more. Prospective students and their families will have the opportunity to meet the professional academic advisor and current art students for a question-and-answer session.
Kent State University’s School of Art is one of Ohio’s top schools in the visual arts, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in Art Education, Art History, and Studio Art. Our program offers a wide array of studio disciplines, expert faculty and a place for fine arts and liberal arts to come together in creative and inspiring ways.
Discover Art Visit Day
Our on-campus Discover Art Visit Days are free and open to all current high school and transfer students.
The guided walking tour of the Center for the Visual Arts is about 45 minutes and will offer prospective students and their families an opportunity to see the studio facilities, classrooms and other student community and work spaces. Students that have registered should meet in the designated room at the Center for the Visual Arts (325 Terrace Drive) a few minutes early. Tours take place from 4 - 5 p.m.
