My research focuses on the social, communication, learning needs of individuals with autism across the lifespan. The theoretical foundations of my work are: systems theory, neurodiversity, developmental and neurodevelopmental/executive functions.  

Kathleen Durant, Ph.D.

My research examines the interaction of cognitive abilities and language development in bilingual children with and without neurodevelopmental disabilities.

We study cellular and molecular mechanisms of brain circuit development related to social and emotional behavior.
