Students in the School of Emerging Media and Technology have abundant opportunities to enhance their coursework with hands-on technology experience — on the Kent State campus, in Ohio and beyond.

On-campus, you'll find our students collaborating at the Design Innovation Hub —  a dynamic continuum of spaces where bring minds converge to solve real-world problems and engage in innovation and creation — or working a campus job focused on website development and technology at IdeaBase, Kent State's student-powered design agency that serves campus and community clients.

We also connect students to conferences like the Ohio Celebration of Women in Computing and off-campus internships at nationally-known employers.
