Fashion merchandising senior, Caris Skobot, receives the NRF Foundation x CVS Health Retail Leaders Scholarship

The Kent State School of Fashion is proud to announce that fashion merchandising senior, Caris Skrobot, received The NRF Foundation x CVS Health Retail Leaders Scholarship. As a recipient, she receives a free trip to the  2025 NRF Foundation Student Program in NYC and a $10,000 education scholarship.

The NRF Foundation x CVS Health Retail Leaders Scholarship aims to increase representation and spark interest in store leadership roles. This opportunity is open to undergraduate college students with an interest in careers in the retail industry, specifically store leadership. Selected applicants receive a $10,000 tuition scholarship and a trip to New York City to attend the 2025 NRF Foundation Student Program. In January, Skrobot will attend the 2025 NRF Foundation Student program, where she will connect with executive leaders, recruiters and students from across the nation.

“I want to extend my greatest gratitude to both the National Retail Federation and CVS Health for selecting me for this amazing opportunity,” said Skrobot. “Also, I would like to thank Dr. Rachel LoMonaco-Benzing and The Kent State School of Fashion for supporting me along the way. I am so excited for all to come as I start my career in this remarkable industry.”
