The Kent State University School of Fashion's TechStyleLAB presents its annual Fashion Tech Hackthon Jan. 28 – 30, 2022. This year's Hackathon is completely virtual and will be an exciting weekend of collaboration and exploration at the intersection of fashion and technology!
Now in its 9th year, this FREE event brings together university students of different majors from a wide variety of places to learn new skills and create innovative projects. With support of mentors from a variety of disciplines, universities and industries, the event fosters networking, collaboration and innovation. From wearable tech to new apps to new ways to use existing technologies, the student teams solve problems by using fashion and technology (and win prizes). Sponsors and mentors have access to possible future employees and innovative, leading-edge products.
The fully online and the virtual Hackathon allows participants to help define the future of fashion without having to travel to Kent, Ohio! We look forward to your participation at the 2022 hack!
