Biography
Sabine Strehl trained professionally with Munich dressmakers Innung des Bekleidungshandwerks and Wehrstein, as well as pattern-makers M. Müller & Sohn. She has worked as a samples dressmaker for Elho sportswear (Munich), as a dressmaker for Morbar wedding dresses (Florence), and as a pattern-maker for Jean-Paul Gaultier's Ghezzi Italian leather collection. She lives in Florence, where she teaches pattern-making, draping and sewing for Kent State University, Polimoda and FIT. She also manages the Florence restaurant La Terrazza del Principe with her husband.
