Who let the dogs out? Are you ready for something new? How about strutting your mutt for the 5K for K9s and You?
Kent State Tuscarawas Alumni Association & Geib Funeral Home and Crematory are partnering for the inaugural Flash Dash 5K-9 run & .5-mile fun run/walk at the Tuscarawas campus, 330 University Dr., NE, New Philadelphia, on Saturday, September 11! Participants can compete in the traditional timed run or walk individually or bring your well-behaved DOG to join you in the contests. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and race time is 10 a.m.
Two division options for the 5K run/walk include a runner only division and a runner + dog division. The .5-mile fun run/walk is open for all including your K9. All dogs must be leashed, vaccinated and tagged. Learn more.
