Dear Kent State University Faculty and Staff,
We hope you are having a smooth transition as you return to campus and prepare for a robust fall semester. As operations get back to normal, we are excited to reenact some of the traditional ways that we recognize the great work of our employees and some of the small gestures that will make your day brighter.
The call for nominations is open for the President’s Award of Distinction for Kent State University staff. This award was created as a recognition program to reward staff members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, service, leadership and dedication to Kent State in advancing the university's strategic priorities and core values.
Full-time classified and unclassified employees at all campuses who have been employed by the university for a minimum of three years and are in good standing with the university are eligible to be nominated. Past recipients are not eligible to be nominated.
Meanwhile, don’t make plans for lunch tomorrow. We’ve got you covered. Kent State University faculty and staff will be served free lunch at the Design Innovation (DI) Dining hall in the DI Hub and Eastway Dining (second floor). Bring your FlashCard ID and your appetite! Whatever you want on the menu is yours. It’s our way to show you how grateful we are to have you in the Kent State family.
