Director, LGBTQ+ Center
Several years ago, I chose to come to Kent State University as a student because I knew about, and respected, the history of student advocacy at the University. Additionally, I appreciated the fact that KSU had the longest continuously running LGBTQ+ student organization in the country, PRIDE! Kent. I loved my time at KSU as a student and am thrilled to be back as a staff member now. I wanted to come back as a staff member for the same reasons I chose KSU as a student—the rich history of student advocacy and overall inclusion/support for LGBTQ+ individuals. I wanted to work and be part of a university that could help to make Ohio a more inclusive place.
