The Kent State University Orchestra Society and the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music at Kent State University raises money for scholarships with our annual Evening with the Orchestra fundraiser. Dinner and drinks are served at the KSU Student Center Ballroom, followed by a concert by the orchestra.
Largest Collegiate Aircraft Fleet in Ohio
Kent State has the largest collegiate fleet (35) of aircraft in Ohio, which accumulates over 18,000 hours of flight time annually.
U.S. News and World Report Rankings
U.S. News & World Report has recognized 20 Kent State programs as among the best in the nation in its 2026 Best Graduate Schools rankings. Among those, seven programs rank in the top 100.
Named a Network Champion Institution by FirstGen Forward
Kent State was announced as a Network Champion Institution by FirstGen Forward, and is one of 41 colleges/universities nationwide to be recognized on this list. Kent State is one of only two colleges/universities in Ohio to receive the recognition.
