Graduate students must abide by the college deadlines in order to graduate.

Fall 2026 December Graduation

August 28 Deadline for Master's and Doctoral Degree and Graduate Certificate Candidates to Apply for December Graduation

September 25 Deadline to Request a Graduate Faculty Representative for Doctoral Students for December Graduation

October 26 Final Date for Oral Examination for Master's and Doctoral Degree Candidates for December Graduation

November 10 First Attempt Submission to OhioLink for December Graduation

November 18 Deadline for Master's Thesis and Doctoral Dissertation Submission and Forms to be Filed in the College for December Graduation this includes the upload to OhioLink

December 2026 Advance Degree Commencement -  Exact Time and Day to be Determined SEE https://www.kent.edu/commencement  FOR TIMELINE
