Our Study Options

The School of Peace and Conflict Studies offers courses at all collegiate levels, BA, MA, and PhD.

At the undergraduate level, the School offers both a major and a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies (formerly Applied Conflict Management), a minor in Environment, Peace and Justice, and a number of courses that can be taken as electives to supplement and enhance other degree programs.  The School’s popular Introduction to Conflict Management class can be used to satisfy Kent CORE and Diversity requirements.

At the graduate level SPCS now offers a Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies.  SPCS faculty also teach courses in the Conflict Analysis and Management track of the PhD/MA program in Political Science.
