Fans of Taylor Swift - and other artists - came together in the Rathskellar to watch the Grammys.

Say hello to Ariyanna Robb, a senior hospitality and event management major, concentrating in event management and hotel and resort management, and minoring in business, from Trenton, Ohio.  

​Students, faculty and alumni from Kent State University’s world-renowned School of Fashion sent some of their most exciting designs down the runway on Feb. 8 in Haute for the House, a fashion show that benefitted Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio.

My name is Andrew Pertz, I am an aerospace engineering student with a minor in applied mathematics. In a lot of ways, I feel like Kent State found me. As a first-generation college student, the process of applying and finding schools was very overwhelming.

Golden Flashes football team members spent a recent afternoon visiting with students at the LeBron James Family Foundation’s I Promise School in Akron, Ohio, where they checked out the school’s facilities and spent time reading to youngsters.

On Jan. 26, the United Greek Council officially unveiled its new name and logo at a ceremony that welcomed members of the National Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council and National Pan-Hellenic Council executive board members and faculty and staff.

Energy was buzzing in the Kent Student Center Ballroom the morning of Feb. 2 as students and employers participated in the Construction Management Job Fair hosted by the Kent State Construction Management Student Organization.  

Each semester, the E. Timothy Moore Student Multicultural Center honors the students in their center who have significantly contributed to the community.
