Apply to REU 2024
The 2024 REU will take place from May 28-August 2, 2024.
Eligibility
Students must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for this program:
- be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- be 18 or older by the start of the program
- have an undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or higher
Deadline
Review of applications will begin March 1st and will continue until all positions are filled.
Application
The application for this program is submitted online. To fill out the application form, you will need the following information:
- Resume - to be uploaded to the application
- Transcript - to be uploaded to the application
- Names and email addresses of two professors providing a letter of recommendation
- Names of three Kent REU professors your are most interested in working with (please visit the Summer Projects page)
Please have your references send their letters no later February 29, 2024 to: Jill Garst at jgarst@kent.edu with subject: LAST NAME - REU Recommendation.
