Homecoming is here! Our college has several activities across campus Friday & Saturday and we hope you'll join us in celebrating!
From 9-5 Friday, Wick Poetry will have guided tour of the May Prentice House and Poetry Park. Starting at 3pm, you can head over to Oscar Ritchie Hall to register for a number of activities hosted by Africana Studies, including tours of the building and the new Textures exhibit which is all about the history and art of black hair.
Saturday from 11am-1pm, the KSU Black alumni will take a group photo of over 200 black alumni which will be placed in the halls of Oscar Ritchie, along with recording testimonials of your time at Kent State. Finally, stop by the Design Innovation Hub Saturday to view our replica statue of The Liberty of Poetry, which was the inspiration for the Statue of Liberty!
