Congratulations to Oliver Bendorf, the winner of the 2013 Stan and Tom Wick Poetry Prize. Mark Doty selected his manuscript, SPECTRAL WILDERNESS, which will be published by Kent State University Press next fall.
Bendorf’s poems have been published in or are forthcoming from Blackbird, Crab Orchard Review, Indiana Review, Ninth Letter, Tupelo Quarterly, and elsewhere, and anthologized in Best New Poets 2012 (UVa Press) and Troubling the Line: Trans and Genderqueer Poetry and Poetics (Nightboat Books). A native of Iowa City, Iowa, he lives in Madison, Wisconsin, where he recently earned his MFA and now teaches creativity, comics, and composition while studying to be a librarian.
