Kudos to Dr. Francoise Massardier-Kinney and the Institute for Applied Linguistics for being awarded the Alexander Gode Medal from the American Translation Association in November 2019. This prestigious award is given in recognition of organizations and individuals for outstanding service to translation and interpretation professions. Kent State University is one of only four institutions to have received this award since 1981. The Kent State University program is recognized globally, and is unique in offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in translation.
