The university's traditional Karamu Ya Wahitimu/Celebración de los Graduados ceremonies celebrated Spring 2023 graduates.

May marks the annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and there are many ways to celebrate both on the Kent Campus and in the greater area.

Lawrence Fung, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford University, spoke at Kent State University on Friday, April 21, for the inaugural Neurodiversity Research Initiative Invited Lectureship, sponsored by the new Neurodiversity Research Initiative. 

Kent State student organizations painted the Rock on Front Campus to show support for the trans community. 

Introducing new perspectives can help students learn about unique cultures and explore similarities and differences. Ikram Toumi, an assistant professor in the School of Communication Studies, has brought that possibility to Kent State University with her global education initiatives.
