This summer, visitors to the beautiful Chautauqua Lake area of New York can experience Traveling Stanzas and engage with Kent State University students as the university’s Wick Poetry Center extends its reach and further establishes its mission.

Their remarkable work takes place in studios, classrooms, laboratories and outdoors. They have been published in prestigious journals, authored books and received significant research grants. Now, they add a new honor to their list of notable achievements.

Fifty cheers for 50 years. Kent State University at Tuscarawas received recognition at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus to honor its upcoming 50th anniversary.

More than 100,000 rooms reserved, nearly 146,000 guests served, more than 2,000 events hosted and 89 weddings booked.
