Bachelor Degrees
Bachelor’s degree programs demonstrate a completed general and broad education with focus in a specific area and are typically completed in four-six years. The following bachelor’s degrees are offered in their entirety on the Kent State Columbiana campuses of Salem and/or East Liverpool. Students can also begin coursework in 370+ world-class programs of study at Kent State University.

Associate Degrees
Associate degrees are two-year degrees of a technical or general nature offered only on the Regional Campuses. Associate degrees can also allow students to complete general education requirements through a two-year program, for later transfer into a four-year degree. The following associate degree programs are offered at the Kent State Columbiana campuses of Salem and/or East Liverpool:

Certificates
Certificates offer students the opportunity to learn specific career skills or professional certification in order to gain employment or advance/specialize in their careers. Kent State University at Salem offers certificate course work in the following areas:

- Business Management- East Liverpool or Salem Campus (Fully online or in person)
- Computed Tomography- Salem Campus (Fully online or mostly online)
- Floriculture - Salem Campus (In person)
- Greenhouse Production - Salem Campus (In person)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging - Salem Campus (Fully online or mostly online)
- Medical Billing- Salem Campus (Fully online or in person)
Online Degrees
Students may complete undergraduate university requirements and Kent Core courses at Kent State University at Salem, Kent State University at East Liverpool or any campus/location, and the major requirements online. The degree would be awarded by the approved campus or college.
Additional fees are assessed for online courses.

Admission to the Nursing for Registered Nurses major is selective. Applicants must be registered nurses (RN) with a diploma or associate degree who are seeking an accredited bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Admission to the Respiratory Care major is selective. Applicants must hold an active credential for certified respiratory therapist (CRT) or registered respiratory therapist (RRT) and an associate degree from a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy/care program with a minimum 2.000 overall GPA
Students can also begin coursework in 370+ world-class programs of study at Kent State University.
