Counseling & Wellness Services is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive experience that focuses on a holistic approach in the services it provides.
The College of Podiatric Medicine understands how balance and wellness are key components of a successful student and as research has shown, psychological wellness is linked to academic success. KSUCPM provides free and confidential mental health counseling at its Independence campus and for additional support, is partnered with Case Western Reserve’s University Health and Counseling Services to provide individual and group counseling, psychiatric care, consultation services and substance recovery care. "The on-site KSUCPM Counselor will be provided with information regarding KSUCPM students' use of the after-hours on-call system for follow-up purposes. Other information regarding KSUCPM students' counseling or psychiatry care will NOT be released without a student's written permission."
