Marie M. Blazer, D.P.M.
Biography
Dr. Blazer is an Associate Professor in the Division of Clinical Sciences at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM). Dr. Blazer originally joined the former Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM) as an assistant professor in the Podiatric Medicine department in 2007. Graduating from John Carroll University with a Bachelors of Science in 2000, Dr. Blazer moved on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2004. She completed a Podiatric Medical and Surgical 36-month residency at the University Hospitals-Richmond Medical Center/ OCPM Program in 2007. Dr. Blazer became board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine in 2012.
Dr. Blazer currently co-coordinates the Podiatric Medicine/ Biomechanics 3rd year rotation at the Midtown Clinic location and coordinates Podiatric Medical Skills and Podopediatrics at the college. She also lectures in Podiatric Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Blazer has also served on the Council of Faculties since 2008 and has been an associate professor at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine since 2015.
