Remembering Dr. Terence Albright, Class of 1975

The Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM) community is deeply saddened by the passing of Hall of Fame member Terence Albright, DPM. Born in York, Pennsylvania, Dr. Albright passed away at the age of 76 on January 1, 2024.

Following his graduation from the then Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM) in 1975, Dr. Albright opened practice at the Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport where he served the community for 17 years, as well as Maine’s Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Albright went on to become the President of the William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago and oversaw the merge of the school with Rosalind Franklin University, wherein he became the dean of the Podiatric Medicine Program. Throughout his career, Dr. Albright was very involved in the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), serving as President in 1998.

Dr. Albright was a continuous supporter of his alma mater, serving on the Board of Trustees, and later being inducted into the KSUCPM Hall of Fame Society in 2011.
