Windy Cole, DPM, CWSP

Dr. Cole is an Adjunct Faculty member at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Dr. Cole graduated summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati, and later earned her podiatry degree with honors from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and has now practiced in Northeast Ohio for over 22 years. Dr. Cole is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as the American Board of Wound Management with special interests in medical educaiton, diabetic foot care, wound care, limb salvage and clinical research.  A sought-after speaker both nationally and internationally, Dr. Cole is also a feature writer for Podiatry Management and Today's Wound Clinic as well as a contributing writer for Podiatry Today.

Dr. Cole is a renowned wound care advocate on the forefront on wound research and has been recognized globally for her work. She is a member of the ACCWS BOD and sits on the advisory board of multiple emerging biotech companies.
