The Geauga Campus in addition to Kent State University's six other Regional Campuses will automatically award associate degrees to bachelor's degree-seeking students who have met all requirements for either the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree. To be eligible students who attend either the Geauga Campus in Burton or the Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg must meet the following qualifications:
- be currently enrolled
- have completed or be currently enrolled in courses to meet the requirements of an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree
- have not been previously awarded a degree
