The Business Leadership Training (BLT) is a partnership between Kent State Twinsburg Academic Center and the Twinsburg and Nordonia Hills Chambers of Commerce. The BLT bi-monthly programming is free and open to the public.
The third program of 2021 is titled “Communication Essentials for Leaders” and is scheduled via Zoom on Thursday, May 27, from noon – 1 PM. David Rust, President, Coaching Solutions LLC, will discuss how to understand the DiSC assessment, know your own likely style, identify DiSC styles in others, and use DiSC to strengthen relationships. What is DiSC? DiSC is a non-judgmental personality and behavioral assessment used by more than one million people every year to improve teamwork, communication, and productivity.
The next presentation is scheduled for Thursday, July 22, from noon – 1 PM. Andrew Carlton will present “Selling for Connectedness. -The New Sales Reality for High Performance”. In this presentation, Andy (Drew) Carlton, experienced sales expert with 25 years in the field, will cover the mindset shifts and power skills you’ll need to transform from old sales thinking to the new realities of selling in order to achieve high performance and consistent increases in sales and company profits.
