Celebrating Faculty Achievements

We would like to congratulate Dr. Robin Dever and Dr. Molly Wang on their recent achievements as esteemed faculty members of Kent State University at Geauga and the Regional Academic Center.

Robin Dever, Ph.D., who teaches for the Kent State Geauga’s Middle Childhood Education Bachelor Degree program, has shown dedication to her program and to the campus with student advising, community engagement, and speaking at multiple student celebration events. She has served on numerous search committees and has attended and presented at conferences as a representative for Kent State. Recently, Dr. Dever received tenure and was promoted to Associate Professor.

Molly Wang, Ph.D., teaches chemistry courses for the Kent State University Geauga Campus and the Regional Academic Center. Earlier this year, Dr. Wang was honored at the 9th Annual Mother’s, Mentors and Muses Celebration organized by Kent State University. This award honors female-identifying faculty or staff of Kent State who have served in any of the roles of a Mother, Mentor or Muse. Dr. Wang was also awarded a Kent State Distinguished Teaching Award in 2017 and was recently promoted to full professor.

Kent State Geauga’s Assistant Dean Dr. Susan Emens joined Dr. Dever and Dr. Wang at the November 8, 2018, Tenure and Promotion Recognition Dinner hosted by Kent State University Provost, Todd A. Diacon.

Congratulations again to these faculty members on their recent accomplishments!
