Your Opportunity to Experience Kent State Homecoming!
Plans are underway for Homecoming 2017! Don't miss this year's Homecoming festivities as the Kent State Golden Flashes take on the Miami RedHawks. There will also be many other exciting activities throughout the weekend including the Bowman Cup 5k, Homecoming parade, welcome home party, hospitality tent and Kiss on the K.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2017
For the first time ever, Geauga Campus and Regional Academic Center students will be able to travel to Kent and take part in the activities.
Our current Student Government made arrangements for students to have the opportunity to be part of the "One University" experience.
A 25 passenger bus will depart the Geauga Campus, travel to Twinsburg and then to the Kent Campus. Student will march in the parade which begins at 10 a.m.
Schedule:
7:15 a.m. -Departs Geauga Campus
8:15 a.m. -Departs Twinsburg RAC
9:15 a.m. -Arrives at Kent Campus -drop off at the Music and Speech parking lot off Theatre Drive.
10 a.m. -Parade begins
The Football Game begins at 3:30 p.m. Students must purchase a ticket for the football game; however, the tickets are discounted. The bus will depart Dix Stadium at 7 p.m.
