On Wednesday, April 26 at noon, students at the Regional Academic Center took advantage of the beautiful weather and a chance to experience a Physical Education Basic Instruction Program (PEB) class. With Kent State's healthy initiatives underway, adding PEB classes to the course offerings aim to help participants maintain fitness, refine activity and sport skills, learn new skills and support students in developing a healthy lifestyles.
Possible course offerings include Yoga, fitness walking, cardio kickboxing, Zumba, PiYo, Boot Camp I, Pound and Hardcore abs. Students can fill out a survey to voice their preferences.
Students at the Geauga Campus will be able to participate in a Zumba and Pound demonstration on Thursday, May 4 at noon. If the weather is nice it will be held outside, or in the Commons if it's raining. Be sure to check it out!
PEB course are open to all students and will be offered this fall semester. The course can be taken without increasing your tuition cost -up to 18 credit hours.
