Sue Mark-Sracic
Biography
Susan Mark-Sracic is a Counseling Specialist for Kent State University Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and an M.Ed. In Educational Psychology (Counseling Psychology & Guidance), and maintains licensure in Social Work and Clinical Counseling. Sue offers counseling services, mental health, and academic success workshops, and participates in campus-wide initiatives promoting student success. She also serves as a Wellness Club advisor and an employee Wellness Ambassador.
Having joined the Kent State Geauga team in 2019, Sue comes from a varied background of learning support and clinical counseling. She is most excited about helping students achieve emotional well-being and academic success. She believes that students are their own best resource, directing their actions and persistence towards being a productive and accomplished person. Sue views education as a lifelong process and opportunity for growth. Her motto: “Be kind and brave - make mistakes, learn from them, and take new actions, but don’t forget to laugh and love with others, along the way.”
