Kent State University at Stark’s next featured speakers are distinct voices on the American political scene, Cal Thomas and Juan Williams.
In a fair and balanced format, the duo will debate about issues driving America’s future and political leadership at 7:30 p.m. April 12 at the Kent State University at Stark Conference Center.
With more than 60 years on the frontlines of American politics, Thomas, a syndicated newspaper columnist and Fox News contributor, and Williams, a political analysist who launched his journalistic career at The Washington Post, will share their knowledge and commitment to presenting the facts.
The fourth speakers in this year’s Featured Speakers Series lineup, the duo was preceded by actor Henry Winkler, best known for his role as the Fonz on “Happy Days”; Shannon Huffman Polson, a U.S. Army veteran who was one of the first women to fly Apache combat helicopters; and Anthony Ervin, four-time Olympic swimming medalist.
The Featured Speakers Series, in its 27th year, is Kent State Stark’s gift to the community. It is a free event, open to the public, but tickets are required. For more information, visit www.kent.edu/stark/featured-speakers-series.
