Internships, Co-ops, and CPT
If an international student elects to enroll in an internship or co-op course. They may be eligible for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) during their time as a student. Internships and Co-ops provide international students an opportunity to work for external employers–separate from Kent State University – allowing them to gain practical work experience directly related to their academic program and in most cases get paid for their work.
