Dr. Donald Hassler, II '67

Hassler taught at KSU from 1965 until retirement in 2014.  He had gone to Williams College and Columbia University.  He served for a number of years as Editor of the academic journal on science fiction EXTRAPOLATION and has published a number of books on the genre. During his last years on our faculty, he served on Faculty Senate and held the offices of secretary and Chair of Senate at different times.
