Free Health Fair This Saturday at the Calcutta YMCA

Kent State University at East Liverpool’s Nursing Department and East Liverpool City Hospital are planning a Health Fair to be held this Saturday from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the YMCA in Calcutta. Senior nursing students in Professor Deborah Hager’s class developed eight stations for the health fair. The health stations were identified through community surveys of health issues in our area during their Community Health Nursing course. First and second level nursing students will provide education on Atrial Fibrillation, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Stroke, Renal Disease, COPD and CHF. They will also have two blood pressure screening tables available. The health fair is free and open to the public.

Kent State Salem Announces President’s, Dean’s Lists Spring 2024

Dr. Brad Bielski, interim dean of Kent State University at Salem, announced those students named to the Spring 2024 President’s and Dean’s lists. Regional Campus celebrates 1,600 graduates with Spring Commencement Ceremonies

Step in. Stand out! That was a common theme among student speakers and graduates at this year's Kent State University's Regional Campus spring graduation ceremonies.

From the shores of Lake Erie to the banks of the Ohio River, more than 1,600 Regional Campus students graduated with master's, bachelor's and associate degrees, along with certificate programs certifications.
