Kent State University at East Liverpool held its annual nursing pinning ceremony May 8, during which 34 students were recognized for receiving degrees through the associate degree in nursing (ADN) program.
Dr. Carol Hrusovsky, academic program director of the ADN program, presented student awards, including the Ohio Nurses Association District 3 Lori Grenich Student Nurse Award to Krista Ensell. This award recognizes excellence in clinical nursing and professional awareness.
Nicole Erwin received the ADN academic award and Sarah Fennema received the ADN service award.
The Student Nurses Association officers included Fennema, Erwin, Halie Brooks and Haley Hochadel.
