Kent State University at East Liverpool held its annual nursing pinning ceremony May 10, during which 45 students were recognized for receiving degrees through the associate degree in nursing (ADN) program.
Linda Warino, executive director of the Ohio Nurses Association, District 3, presented the ONA District 3 Lori Grenich Student Nurse Award to Ryan Greier, recognizing excellence in clinical nursing and professional awareness.
Ashley Chisom received the East Liverpool ADN Nursing Professionalism award, as well as the ADN academic award. Colleen Herbert received the ADN service award.
The Student Nurses Association officers included Hope Davis, Renee Flinn, Paige Kasten, and Maria Kobus.
