The Locke House; Kent State University at East LiverpoolThe Locke House is a training facility for Kent State University at East Liverpool Occupational Therapy Assistant students. The house provides students the opportunity for education and skills instruction in simulated environments: home and hospital bedrooms, regular and adapted bathrooms, kitchen, living room and dining areas. 

We invite you to take a tour of the house and talk to current faculty, staff and students about the exciting things happening in our program.

Most people do not realize what Occupational Therapy Assistants do. According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, Occupational Therapy Assistants help patients develop, recover and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. They assist with the evaluation and treatment of people with injuries, illnesses, cognitive impairments and other disorders or conditions.

To qualify for the President’s List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester.
