Incoming Student Checklist

Members of the Class of 2029 will need to complete the checklist items prior to matriculating at KSUCPM.

REQUIRED	FAFSA	Fill out a FAFSA (Kent State Code: 003051). VISIT: studentaid.gov Refer to the separate Financial Aid Checklist for all your financial aid requirements
REQUIRED	FLASHLine	Log in to FlashLine upon receiving your Kent State e-mail address, FlashLine ID, and student ID number. FlashLine IDs and e-mails will be sent out beginning in late January and continually as students secure their seats in the Class of 2029. Please allow a few weeks for processing.
REQUIRED	EMERGENCY CONTACT	Enter “Emergency Contact” info in FlashLine.
REQUIRED	Immunization	Complete Immunization and Titer Requirements. Collect your records and obtain required immunizations, titers, and TB testing.
REQUIRED	TRANSCRIPT(S)	Submit any outstanding transcripts that may be required by KSUCPM.
REQUIRED	Letters of rec.	Submit any outstanding letters of recommendation
REQUIRED	WHITE COAT SIZE	Send KSUCPM your white coat size.
REQUIRED	BACKGROUND CHECK	Complete your background check - information will be sent in Summer 2025.
REQUIRED	DRUG TEST	Complete your drug test - information will be sent in Summer 2025.
REQUIRED	LASSI	Complete the Learning and Study Strategies Inventory - information will be sent in Summer 2025.
REQUIRED	PARKING PERMIT	Register for your parking permit - information will be sent in Summer 2025.
REQUIRED	FLASHCard	Submit your picture for your Student ID - information will be sent in Summer 2025.
REVIEW	supplies	Review the list of supplies (textbooks, supplies, laptop) and purchase what is needed.
REVIEW	housing	Research housing options in the area and secure housing.
REVIEW	FB group	Join the Class of 2029 Facebook Group for periodic updates & helpful hints from upperclassmen.
REVIEW	CHECK YOUR EMAIL	Continue to check your personal and Kent emails for updates regarding the upcoming academic year and other requirements.
