Annual Scholarship Award Reception
Scholarships can make all the difference in a student's life. They enable students to keep going to school and achieve dreams of a degree and a career. Each year $250,000 in donor-funded and freshman merit scholarships are awarded to Kent State Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center students. The generosity of local families, companies, and organizations allow these students to earn a degree who otherwise would not have had the opportunity.
The Annual Scholarship Reception brings together students, donors, faculty, staff, families, and guests together in a celebration of success and giving. It is the one night each year where students can say "thank you" to donors for their generosity and for donors to meet the award recipients as well as for the two groups to share experiences, stories, and a wonderful evening.
