Degrees, Concentrations, and Minors

Undergraduate Overview

Psychology is the study of behavior and mental processes as well as the application of that knowledge to real-life problems. Psychologists ask questions like: who are we? Why do we do the things we do? How can we use this knowledge to improve people’s lives?

The Department of Psychological Sciences offers two degree paths, three optional specific concentration options, a general concentration and a minor that pairs well with majors in many other fields. Our undergraduate psychology B.A. and B.S. web page provides guidance into the degree that might best fit your interests.

Students in the department have the opportunity to take part in psychological research, complete internships and take courses that help them pursue their interests and meet their goals.
