Kent State University at Tuscarawas will hold Blue & Gold Night on Tuesday, March 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. This interactive admissions event utilizes an expo format to enable attendees to choose what information they need regarding admissions and the academic programs at Kent State Tuscarawas.
During the event, information will be provided about how to:
- Get started at Kent State Tuscarawas
- Pay for your education — whether you are seeking a certificate, two-year or four-year degree
- Choose the major that’s right for you
“This expo format allows prospective students to visit all or only some of the information stations that will be part of this information night,” said Admissions Advisor Jennifer Greer. “Attendees can choose which special areas of study that they are interested in and want to visit. We will have individual professors and directors from many different academic programs at the event. The program is designed to be fun and informative.”
Attendees can also visit with experts from admissions, academic advising and financial aid.
For students who want to learn how to earn college credits while still in school, a College Credit Plus (CCP) session will begin at 6 p.m.
This informal information night is open to all types of students, including high school juniors and seniors, students interested in CCP, adult students, transfer students and individuals who have attended college but have not completed a degree.
