The two-day Leadership Essentials course will be held October 21 and 22, 2021, at Kent State University at Tuscarawas, and is designed primarily for managers, supervisors and group leaders who want to take themselves and their leadership skills to their next level. The course is also recommended as groundwork for those expecting to assume supervisory responsibilities in the future or who are being groomed for advancement in the organization. This competency-based course focuses on essentials core skills, such as the role of leaders, self-management, communication skills and leadership responsibilities. This course is also an excellent refresher for those already in leadership positions.
