Student Government Gearing Up on East Liverpool, Salem Campuses

Officers Gearing Up for Projects, Activities in Columbiana County

 

The Undergraduate Student Government organizations on the East Liverpool and Salem campuses are beginning to plan activities to benefit students, as well as projects that provide outreach to the community.

Students are encouraged to attend meetings to share information, ideas or concerns.

     East Liverpool

     Meetings are held at 2:30 p.m. each Thursday in the Dean’s Conference Room in          Purinton Hall.

     Officers:

     President – Mark Deemer

     Vice President – Marcus Mick

     Secretary/Treasurer – Andrew Prekup

     Meetings are held at 4 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month in the                Student Lounge.

Dr. Brad Bielski, interim dean of Kent State University at Salem, announced those students named to the Spring 2024 President’s and Dean’s lists. To qualify for the President’s List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.40 or greater grade point average and must have completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester, the majority at the Salem Campus.

From the shores of Lake Erie to the banks of the Ohio River, more than 1,600 Regional Campus students graduated with master's, bachelor's and associate degrees, along with certificate programs certifications.
