ABOUT THIS MAJOR

The technical modeling design program prepares students with instruction in technical illustration, and drafting/design in computer animation for business, manufacturing, game design and entertainment. Courses use computer-aided design (CAD) for computer modeling and multimedia development.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO

Students who complete this program will have experience in technical writing and programming as well as 2D and 3D modeling through complex CAD technology. They can pursue careers in architectural, civil and mechanical drafting, electronics, calibration technology and engineering technology.
