The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting Wednesday, Jan. 20, for the sole purpose of ratifying a three-year, collective bargaining agreement between the university and full-time, tenured and tenure-track faculty, who are represented by the American Association of University Professors-Kent State Chapter.
The Board will convene at 5:45 p.m. in the George Urban Board of Trustees Conference Room, which is located on the second floor of the Kent Campus Library.
No committee meetings will be held, and the Board will retire into executive session during the meeting to consider specific topics as provided for under Ohio’s “Sunshine Law.” No other items are on the agenda.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board is Wednesday, March 9.
