The public is invited to attend the ceremony co-hosted by Cleveland State University and Kent State University in person or online
Cleveland State University and Kent State University will co-host a celebration of life for Dr. Michael Schwartz on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 3 p.m. in the Glasscock Family Foundation Ballroom (third floor of CSU’s Student Center). Doors will open to the public at 2:30 p.m.
Those who wish to pay their respects but cannot attend in person are invited to view the event via livestream.
Dr. Schwartz, who served as CSU’s fifth president and Kent State’s ninth president, passed away on Jan. 2 at the age of 86. For anyone interested in making a gift in his memory, the family encourages donations to either Cleveland State’s or Kent State’s Endowment Funds.
